Steamboat Springs is fantastic place to bring your family. There is something for everyone. The slopes are great with all different runs for every level of skier. Even during spring break, we never waited more than 10 minutes in a lift line. The kids programs are wonderful! They have every level of ski school and a brand new kids’ facility that is great. The wait to drop off your kids in the morning needs improvement, but that is really the only complaint about the entire week of family vacation. And those of you with kids, knows that is saying something! Vacationing with kids can be challenging, but at Steamboat, it was great. We took our kids to ski school every morning, then my husband and I hit the slopes until time to pick up the kids. There are plenty of places to eat lunch on the mountain and the base.

Our condo was even better than expected. It was decorated very nice, and cleaned every day. There are so many condos to choose from, at every price level. I’ve always been very pleased with the different condos we have rented in Steamboat. There are shuttles to and from the condos to the ski square every few minutes. The shuttles all go to downtown as well. So, it’s not even necessary to rent a car.
 

Did I mention the spas? There are so many to choose from. If you are not a skier, no worries! There are plenty of places to pamper you while the others hit the slopes. There is also plenty of great shopping.

There are so many activities outside of skiing, that I couldn’t even begin to list them all. However, favorites for our family are always the tubing and the hot springs pools.
